北师大外国语学院一般指北京师范大学外国语言文学学院
北京师范大学外国语言文学学院前身为1912年成立的英语部，1928年更名为英语系。1949年随学校更名为北京师范大学外语系，1952年北京师范大学与辅仁大学合并，撤消了北京外语系改为俄语系。1960年俄语系再度更名为外语系。1972年重建日语专业。2002年12月北京师范大学外国语言文学学院成立。

The School of Foreign Languages of Beijing Normal University generally refers to the School of Foreign Languages and Literature of Beijing Normal University
The School of Foreign Languages and Literature at Beijing Normal University (BNU) was originally the English Department founded in 1912 and was renamed the English Department in 1928. In 1949, it was renamed the Foreign Languages Department of Beijing Normal University. In 1952, Beijing Normal University merged with Fu Ren University, and the Beijing Foreign Languages Department was replaced by the Russian Department. In 1960, the Russian Department was renamed Foreign Languages Department again. In 1972, the Japanese major was reestablished. In December 2002, School of Foreign Languages and Literature of Beijing Normal University was established.
